i saw a fight break out on the platform between an elder and a unbelieving husband who accused the elder of f---ing his wife.

he then threw the lectern on the floor and pushed the elder.

it was cool.......

Going door to door in extreme weather

this morning as i got up, it was 0 f outside.

this morning at 9 o'clock as usual the same witnesses will go door to door at this temperature.

i already saw them going door to door at -25 f. i wonder what it would take for them to say it is too cold or too hot to go out in the field service?

seems like most of the pioneers we knew in our area were moochers(sp?

) they would go to any means to save a penny,.

i chose this title not just because of the shear numbers of molesters that potentially exist within the organizations and congregations of jehovahs witnesses, but the insidious impact they continue to have, when you least expect or realize what is happening.

this is about a situation that directly affected my own family.

namaste........ i recieved my brochure the other day from the legal department of the wtbts in patterson ny.. i have not had devoted time to look at all 32 pages with the most critcal eye, but will share my most immediate observations.... first, we are not talking about some newspaper type document.

in my opinion, it is the finest layout and printing job done by the society to date.

the copy i have is copyright 2000. the fund that orginally peaked my interest is not mentioned anywhere i can find.. of the 32 pages only 6 have no color pictures on them.

Watchtower methods of subliminal messages

it isn't necessary to use words to convey a subliminal message.. take for example the use of illustrations (photos) found on page 26 in the february 15, 2001 issue of the watchtower.. the three pictures show witnessing in differenet parts of the earth, namely the east, europe, and africa.. 1. woman in smart asian dress with hat.. 2. man with black clothing replete with beret.. 3. african man with long sari type robe which is light brown in .

colour, quite smart and clean.. in each picture the witness is dressed in western business clothing whereas the person being witnessed to (the worldly person) is in native dress.. is this another subliminal message?

native or customary dress marks an individual as wordly?.

this is an issue that really bothers me.

the elders are supposed to be looking after the well being of the congregation.

they are supposed to be helping those in need.
